In her free time, Amy Powell likes to formulate and solve lengthy mathematical equations that deal with motorcycle acceleration, watch short clips of Vladimir Putin waving at Russian pigeons, and practice her Pastafarian religion. When not doing all of the above, she can generally be found outside, enjoying the last few days that are left before rising sea levels render the species irrelevant, and before humans must mutate to adapt. Also, she writes fiction, and teaches English.
